A tag has been placed on Draft:Futran Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —Alalch E. 12:54, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Vivekupadhyay1. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Futran Solutions, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Vivekupadhyay1. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Vivekupadhyay1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. —Alalch E. 12:55, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Vivekupadhyay1, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Vivekupadhyay1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 12:19, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:44, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How to respond to this? I haven't taken any amount for editing or writing articles. Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 13:48, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You don't have to be specifically paid to edit to be a paid editor. Any paid relationship with a topic(including employment) triggers the disclosure requirement. Again, can you understand how this looks to everyone else? If you are a different person with the same name, that needs to be made very clear. If you are the same person, now is the time to be honest about it. 331dot (talk) 13:53, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@331dot If you look at their user page history you will see that they made a declaration and then deleted it. nThis is not a usual type of behaviour, and it warrants explanation. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:56, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fiddle, you got me wrong. Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 13:58, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I know what you and others are thinking about me. But to be honest I'm different one. Not the one that is there on the Futran website. Thankyou. I think we should end this conversation here only. Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 13:57, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will give you one final chance to be open and honest about your relationship, or lack thereof, with Futran. These questions need to be answered if you wish to continue editing. 331dot (talk) 13:59, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever you wanted, I have done. I have added my own website's name and declared. I don't know why you think that the name of an employee which is similar to my name is me only. Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 14:02, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How did you come to edit about a company that coincidentally has an employee by the same name as you? That's entirely possible- but can you understand why people might be skeptical of that, especially given your promotional edits about the company? What is the exact nature of Physics Alert's relationship with Futran? 331dot (talk) 14:06, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Brother, I think for this conversation (What is the exact nature of Physics Alert's relationship with Futran?) we need to schedule an meeting where we can formally discuss. Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 14:09, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's not how this works. This will be discussed in full view of the community. Wikipedia matters are not discussed off wiki unless the most sensitive personal information is involved. I don't want personal information, but the paid editing policy requires you to disclose "who is paying you to edit, who the client is, and any other relevant role or relationship. It does not matter whether you are paid directly by the client, or paid indirectly by an employer on behalf of the client." If you need time to consider your reply, feel free, but this is a Terms of Use requirement and not negotiable. If you don't wish to comply with this Terms of Use requirement, that's fine, but you will not be able to edit here in that case. 331dot (talk) 14:16, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Look, I have already mentioned this ( This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that he has been paid by Physics Alert for his contributions to Wikipedia.) on my profile and now I dont want to discuss any further regarding the subject. And if you want and find me guilty go on and remove my editing access. Thankyou so much for your time and friendly discussion. Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 14:20, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I believe you have an unanswered question about your deleted paid editing declaration. Dissembling is likely to result in loss of editing privileges (0.95 probability) 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 14:00, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for reinstating the declaration of paid editing. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 14:03, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have answered it brother. Please check once and let me know if you have any other questions that you think should be answered. Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 14:04, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have answered the question about paid editing. Thank you. I have no current questions for you. Others may have. I am, however, not your brother, nor do I wish to be addressed as such, please. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 14:09, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou, Gentlemen Vivekupadhyay1 (talk) 14:10, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

May 2024[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
331dot (talk) 14:31, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since you have willfully declined to be fully open and honest with us about this, I have removed your editing access. Should you have a change of heart, or if you think I have gotten this wrong, please follow the provided instructions to make an unblock request. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 14:32, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
