FAQs:

The bot reverts too much[edit]

It seems that the bot will revert an entire edit that added unreferenced sources, even if most of the edit was otherwise correct. Ex. here. This collateral damage may need addressing, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:37, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Piotrus Please see the FAQ. There is also collateral damage with undoing single edits out of a series, even resulting in broken pages or spammy material staying behind. Remember that the bot mostly reverts editors that do not have a lot of experience, not regulars. Dirk Beetstra T C 19:08, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Page being removed twice by same user[edit]

Hi there, I've been trying to create a new Wikipedia page. I've used references but it has been removed for the second time. I'm not understanding what I'm not doing correctly. Not sure how I can see who the editor was but could you please explain what the reason is for deleting the page Taryll Jackson? Kind regards, JXNLegacy (talk) 12:12, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to take a look at this when I get a chance. Beetstra and Versageek, have you been able to see what's happening here, and do you have any advice? — Newslinger talk 22:32, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

help[edit]

Hi there, I just created a wiki page on my own account, but its about a scientist and I would like to move it to it's own URL. it is not promotional. he is a revered and dead scientist who has made a huge impact in climate change research building the first atmospheric model at princeton university. Also there are reputable links included in the article. what do I do to move it to a new url? User:Bfinston and thank you Bfinston (talk) 13:28, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
